Casualty of WWII,Albert was a Radio Officer in the Royal Air Force Ferry Command; he was 24 and the son of Alfred and Mabel Tamblin, of Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada; husband of Frances Mary Tamblin, of Port Arthur. The memorial was erected as a result of a subscription by the inhabitants of Whitletts as a token of respect.
